It’s the holiday season…time to think about gifts for family and friends. And what better place to find great gifts than at Gracie’s Aunt’s Emporium. Owner Kelly Plourde started out seventeen years ago down on Penobscot Avenue, doing re-sale (before it was popular). Over time, she has watched her customers and added items that they liked–such as antiques, Maine Made Crafts, Jewelry, and more. Eventually, she needed more space, so she and her husband purchased the buildings on Central St., which has allowed her to grow her business and cater to her customers. Gracie’s still does clothing and items on consignment–by appointment–and now she sells a lovely line of new dresses, scarves, hats and more. She even rents Tuxedos if you get to her in advance.
If you haven’t stopped by yet, why not try tomorrow, Dec. 6, 2018? It’s her annual “Open House” from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, with a storewide discount, a door prize drawing, and free gifts with purchases.
And if you can’t make it on Thursday, she’s continuing the sale on Friday and Saturday for the Marathon…different discounts, but more door prizes and great selections.
