We are home to Baxter State Park where Maine's tallest peak - Mt. Katahdin, and the Northern Terminus of the Appalachian Trail are found. The Katahdin Region is well-known by fishermen for its world class landlock salmon fishery.
Winter in the Katahdin Region is truly a pristine winter wonderland. With over 350 miles of groomed trails, we are proud to offer some of the most spectacular snowmobiling in Maine. The winter season also brings added pleasure for cross country skiers, snowshoers, ice fishers and lovers of snow.
We're conveniently located just an hour away from Bangor International Airport and easily accessible from Interstate 95. Our local airport operates year round to accommodate visitors who prefer air travel.
